1. What we collect
Account details (email, name, country, profession), travel dates you choose to share, bookings you make, and the technical basics every website receives (IP address, browser type). Payment details are handled entirely by eSewa, Khalti or the card gateway — they never touch our servers.
2. How we use it
To operate your bookings and pass, to run community events, to show anonymous member counts (like 'here now'), and to email you about your account and bookings. We only send marketing email if you opt in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
3. What partners see
When you book, the partner delivering that service receives only what they need: your name, dates, and for airport pickups your flight number. Partners never see your email, password or payment details.
4. Member directory
The public 'who's in Pokhara' view shows first name, profession and country only — never your email, exact dates or contact details. You control your arriving/leaving dates in your profile and can clear them anytime.
5. Cookies and storage
We use browser storage to keep you logged in and basic analytics to understand which pages are useful. No advertising trackers.
6. Retention and deletion
Booking records are kept for the period required by Nepali tax law. Everything else is deleted when you delete your account — email us at hello@pokharanomad.com and we'll complete deletion within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Contact hello@pokharanomad.com for any privacy question or request.
